Who They Are

EventCamp is a full-service, online event registration system for event managers that captures delegate, exhibitor and sponsor information, all in one place.

An existing event management company had been working with an archaic online registration system that didn’t provide them, or their clients, the functionality they needed. There were existing options available but they were big, very costly and didn’t provide everything that the company wanted to include so they decided to invest in building their own platform by working with ViewSource Media.

Our Solution

The owner of the event management company awarded the new, custom designed and developed system to us, ViewSource Media. It was decided early on that a separate company should be launched which would run the new event management system called EventCamp. We designed a new logo identity for EventCamp.

The new online registration system needed to work with the existing event management company but would also interface with other event management companies across North America helping them run their events more efficiently online. We worked closely with the client to develop a complete wireframe outlining the structure and functionality of the system to ensure that each type of user would understand the capabilities of the system. This included end users (mostly delegates), event managers and administrators.

We realized we had to build something unique, a system that wouldn’t follow any of the existing systems out there as we determined they were too cumbersome.

The biggest component was the development of a platform for delegates, sponsors and exhibitors that could all be managed under one event in a simple, easy to follow way.

• Robust, individual and group session ticket setup

• Custom event sponsorship and exhibitor package setup

• Separate agenda sessions with customized attendance tracking

• Custom sales windows, pre-sale, promotions, etc.

• Automatic start and end dates for on-line registration

• QR code ticket scanning and tracking

• The ability to refund purchases, track sales and export reports

A brand new, one-of-a-kind, online event registration system called EventCamp! The system now provides full management of any event accessible anywhere, anytime. It is even mobile friendly!

In the end, EventCamp will save time and money by effectively managing events online for any event management company within North America.
